The actual answer here is that Korea, for odd historical reasons, ended up building up a lot of its mạng internet infrastructure on vị trí cao nhất of IE.

In this case, I believe the Naver instance you're seeing there is essentially boxed in a bespoke IE instance to run its app.

100% subpar, but legacy tech takes a long time lớn rip out (cough LoL client cough).

Honestly, mạng internet Explorer has come a long way, just its reputation gets it memed. If you're not looking for an incredibly powerful browser it's a completely reasonable option, ESPECIALLY if your computer has issues with Chrome or Firefox. (although I will admit I'm still a Chrome user)

EDIT: Edge good. Explorer bad. Both have an E, forgive me!

maybe he doesn't browse the internet that often, so he probably has no issue using the default internet explorer.
